We sell made-to-order digital vehicle history reports delivered electronically after payment.
Cancellation before processing
If you cancel before report processing begins, you are eligible for a full refund. Contact us promptly because processing may begin shortly after payment confirmation.
When you can receive a refund
- We could not generate a report for the VIN, HIN or registration submitted.
- You were charged more than once for the same order.
- Your report was not delivered within 24 hours of payment.
- A delivered report contains a verified material mistake caused by our processing. In that case, we refund 50% and retain 50% for completed research and processing.
When refunds are not normally available
- The report was delivered, matches the identifier entered and contains no verified material processing mistake.
- You entered an incorrect VIN, HIN, registration, plate number or email address.
- You disagree with information accurately reproduced from the sources available when the report was prepared.
UK cancellation rights
Nothing in this policy limits statutory rights. Where the law gives you a cancellation period for digital content or services, we will seek any express consent and acknowledgement required before beginning immediate supply. Rights relating to faulty, misdescribed or non-conforming digital content remain unaffected.
How to request a refund
Email info@vehicleshistory.uk within 14 days of purchase with your order email, order reference and vehicle identifier. We normally reply within two business days. Approved refunds return to the original payment method; banks may take 5–10 business days to show the credit.
